About Boats

Under Piers you see the next departures from a pier and which piers are closest to you.

Timetables and real-time data for Waxholmsbolaget, SL commuter boats and SL ferries are fetched from SL open data. Other operators – for example the Cinderella boats – come from ResRobot via Trafiklab, which aggregates all of Sweden's public transport. The same boat from two sources is shown once; SL real-time takes precedence.

Disruptions (cancelled piers/trips) from SL traffic info are shown when relevant. Info for other operators may be missing – check with the operator if unsure.

• Waxholmsbolaget – single ticket via SL app or card; price depends on distance. All SL tickets valid year-round between Strömkajen and Vaxholm. Seasonal rules apply. No booking. Tickets and fares
• SL commuter boat (line 80, 82, 89 …) – standard SL ticket, same as the bus. SL tickets
• Cinderella boats (Strömma) – separate ticket, book at stromma.com. SL tickets not valid. Departs from Strandvägen, summer season only. Book with Strömma

Note: on Waxholmsbolaget boats, you need a paper ticket – scan your app/card on board and hand the receipt to the crew when disembarking.

Archipelago schedules change seasonally. Outer island lines are often summer-only. Searches look ahead one week to suggest alternative days or start points.
